Acceptable Use & Content Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

This policy applies to everyone who uses Synexa, whether through the website, the API, an SDK or an application built on top of Synexa. It is part of our Terms of Service. If you build a product on Synexa, you are responsible for making sure your end users follow it too.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use Synexa to generate, edit, upload, transform or distribute any of the following, through text prompts, uploaded or reference images, video, audio or any other input:

1.1 Sexual Content

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic content of any kind
  • Nudity, including partial nudity presented in a sexual context
  • Content designed to sexually arouse, including “undressing”, “remove clothes” or similar edits of a person

1.2 Minors

  • Any content that sexualizes minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form — real, drawn, animated or AI-generated
  • Content depicting minors in a sexual or suggestive manner

We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the relevant authorities.

  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including “revenge” content and AI-generated intimate images of a real person
  • Deepfakes, face swaps or likeness edits of a real person without that person’s consent
  • Content that impersonates a real person to deceive, defraud or harass others

1.4 Other Harmful or Illegal Content

  • Content that is illegal where you or your users are located
  • Harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or hatred against people or groups
  • Content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights
  • Malware, spam, fraud or attempts to circumvent our safety systems

2. How We Moderate

  • Automated moderation. Text prompts and every uploaded or reference image are checked by automated content-safety systems before a generation runs. Requests that violate this policy are refused and are not charged.
  • Fail closed. If the safety check is unavailable, the request is refused rather than processed without a check; you can retry it later.
  • Records. We keep a record of refused requests and the policy categories they matched, so we can detect repeated abuse and respond to reports.
  • Review. We may review content, prompts and account activity when a request is flagged, when we receive a report, or when we are required to by law.

Attempting to evade moderation — for example by obfuscating prompts, splitting a prohibited request into parts, or using a model to strip safety measures — is itself a violation of this policy.

3. Enforcement

Depending on the severity, we may, without prior notice:

  • Refuse or remove the content
  • Revoke API keys and suspend access
  • Permanently terminate the account
  • Report the activity to law enforcement or the relevant authorities

Content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery or deepfakes of real people without consent results in immediate and permanent account termination.

4. Reporting

If you see content generated with Synexa that violates this policy, or you believe your likeness was used without consent, contact us at:

We review every report and act on violations as quickly as possible.
